Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt look like a fairytale in Kumkumala song teaser shared by SS Rajamouli; watch

    Alia Bhatt’s RRR director SS Rajamouli has unveiled the teaser of Kesariya’s Telugu version Kumkumala from her and Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Brahmastra. The couple looks very much in love as they explore Varanasi in the endearing video.

    Brahmastra is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of the year. A major reason for our excitement is that it marks husband and wife Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ’s very first film together. While their first looks and the logos had been shared earlier, a teaser of the romantic track Kesariya , helmed by Arijit Singh, was unveiled by Karan Johar and director Ayan Mukerji a day before their lead actors tied the nuptial knot. As netizens gushed over their fresh on-screen chemistry and the soulful lyrics, many wondered if the song was their pre-wedding shoot.

    As we eagerly wait for the film to arrive in theatres on 9th September, ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli took to his official social media handle today morning to give fans a surprise. He shared an extended teaser of Kesariya’s Telugu version, titled Kumkumala, which gives us a deeper look at Shiva and Isha’s relationship. In the magical video, which seems like a fairytale, Ranbir and Alia look smitten by one another as they explore the streets of Varanasi together. Their off screen love for each other has beautifully reflected in their on-screen chemistry and we just can’t get over it!

    On 14th April this year, Ranbir and Alia took their relationship to the next level. After dating for 5 long years, they got married on the balcony of their Bandra apartment in the presence of their family and closest friends from the industry. While we can’t wait to see them together on the silver screen in Brahmastra, we are equally excited about their other upcoming projects. Alia will soon share the screen with her Gully Boy co-actor Ranveer Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani whereas Ranbir has films like Shamshera and Animal in his kitty.
