Brahmastra: Shah Rukh Khan has a good 15-20 minutes role in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer, shot for the project months ago
Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt led Brahmastra has been confirmed ahead of the film's trailer release.
The trailer of Brahmastra is all set to release on June 15 and ahead of its launch filmmaker Ayan Mukherji who has spent five years making the film, has confirmed at an event that Shah Rukh is indeed a part of the film’s ensemble.
According to an Indian Express report, Shah Rukh Khan shot for an extended cameo in the film for two weeks and Ayan Mukherji believes that the fans will be surprised. Fans of the superstar haven’t been able to keep calms since they claimed to have spotted SRK in the teaser of Brahmastra which was released recently.
The report further suggests that Shah Rukh plays a scientist in the movie and has good 15-20 minute role in the Brahmastra. His cameo appearance will apparently extremely crucial to the story and the actor shot for the project a few months ago.
While fans can certainly hope to see Shah Rukh in the movie now, we will have to wait and watch if he gets some screentime in the trailer as well which releases on Wednesday.
Apart from Shah Rukh, the film led by Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor also stars, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy , Amitabh Bachchan and apparently also Chiranjeevi. Brahmastra Part 1 is scheduled to release on September 9.
Before Brahmastra, SRK fans will also get to see him in a cameo appearance in R. Madhavan ’s Rocketry and Aamir Khan ’s Laal Singh Chaddha which arrive in cinemas in July and August respectively. As for his next as a lad, Shah Rukh Khan, Pathaan which releases in January 2023 and Atlee’s Jawaan which is scheduled to release in the same year. The actor is busy shooting for Rajkumar Hirani ’s Dunki at the moment.
