Karan Johar recently deactivated his Twitter handle announcing his permanent goodbye from the micro-blogging site. The filmmaker cited the reason as to stay away from all the negativities on the social media platform. However, seems like The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri is not convinced of KJo’s actions and has now taken a sharp dig at him in his latest tweet.

Talking about the same, Vivek Agnihotri without taking Karan Johar’s name took a jibe at the latter for quitting Twitter but being active on Instagram. Talking about the same, Vivek tweeted, “I believe a genuine person seeking positive energies would leave Social Media completely. Leaving only Twitter because it doesn’t allow hypocrisy or fakeness but staying on Instagram because it gets brands and allows fakeness itself is a negative and screwed up approach to life.” The director quoted his own tweet that said, “Quitters never win. Winners never quit.” Take a look at his tweet.

There were some netizens who agreed with Vivek Agnihotri’s views while some called him out for targeting Karan Johar. A netizen who was in favor of Agnihotri’s tweet said, “True. A real genuine person like you radiates positive energies irrespective of environment or medium.” Another user said, “Very well said. Some just don’t want to be shown the true mirror of their hypocrisy & their wokeness & want to use Instagram just to promote themselves as a brand.”

However, there were some netizens who criticized Vivek Agnihotri for the post. One user said, “Mister calm down, why are you so jealous of his success? Make some good movies you will also be successful.” Another user said, “You are frustrated by the collection of Brahmastra as the collection of Brahmastra is superb then The So-called Kashmir Files.” For the unversed, Karan Johar’s last tweet stated, “Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter! (sic).”
