Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone goes bold with her day look in black; Pooja Hegde shares first look from Cannes debut

Actress Deepika Padukone is busy rocking the Cannes Film Festival yet again and this time as a jury member. The actress who is putting India on the map of world cinema with this special honour stepped up her fashion game for Day 2 at Cannes as she attended the launch of the Indian Pavilion along with Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.

The actress aced her OOTD, a black pantsuit, which she paired with a silver metal choker. She had her hair tied up in a messy bun with rusty red lips. Dialling down her make-up several notches from her last red-carpet appearance in a retro Sabyasachi saree on Tuesday, Deepika looks ready to slay with her day look.

The actress along with Minister Anurag Thakur launched the Indian Pavilion on the side-lines of the film festival with India having been named the first 'Country of Honour' at Marche du Film or Cannes Market.

Pictures of Deepika and Anurag Thakur also surfaced online from the Pavilion where an interaction was followed by the launch.

While Deepika marks her Day 2, actress Pooja Hegde shared a short clip from her first day at Cannes Film Festival where she will be making her red carpet debut this year. The actress donned an ivory bejewelled pant suit with golden hoop earning.

The Radhe Shyam actress’s video gave only a brief glance at her look but it seems like she opted to make a simple yet alluring debut. Pooja is yet to share pictures with the complete look.

Pooja will also be walking the red carpet today and is likely to join the after-party in the French Rivera.
