Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar offered to buy luxury cars for Bhumi Pednekar, Sara Ali Khan; paid Rs. 18 lakhs to Jahnvi Kapoor

    Conman Sukesh Chandrashehkar is said to have contacted Bollywood divas Sara Ali Khan, Bhumi Pednekar with offers of expensive gifts. Paid Janhvi Kapoor through wife with extorted money for a professional commitment.

    Enforcement Directorate has uncovered fresh Bollywood connections while investigating the fraud case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar . A probe has revealed that the conman who is currently in Tihar Jail made contact with actresses Bhumi Pednekar , Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor offering them expensive gifts.

    The 32-year-old is being investigated for allegedly extorting Rs 215 crore from Aditi Singh, the wife of the owner of Ranbaxy by posing as various government officials promising her help to get her husband out of jail.

    Sukesh Chandrashekhar established contact with Sara Ali Khan, Bhumi Pednekar along with his associate Pinky Irani and tried to woo these Bollywood divas with luxury gifts according to India Today. While Bhumi was made the offer of a huge project as the conman posed to be the chairman of a media company and also offered to buy her a luxury car.

    Bhumi has said in her statement to the Enforcement Directorate that she was contacted by Chandrashekhar and his associate under false names and declined their offer both times.

    Sara Ali Khan who has also been questioned by the ED in the case was contacted by Sukesh in May 2021 via Whatsapp and he even offered to buy her a car as a friendly gesture which she continuously declined and ultimately agreed to receive just chocolates from him.

    According to reports the actress has told the ED that she received a Franck Muller watch worth lakhs along with the chocolates.

    Actress Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, was contacted by Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s wife Leena Maria Paul who invited the actress in 2021 to inaugurate her nail salon in Bengaluru. For the same, the actress is said to have received a professional fee of Rs. 18.94 lakh.

    Janhvi also admitted to have received a Christian Dior tote bag from Leena’s mother at the inauguration. The actress submitted her bank records to the ED along with her statement in the case.

    Sukesh Chandrashekhar was previously in the news for his expensive gifts given to actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi both of who have cooperated with the ED in the investigation.

    These expensive gifts to Bollywood divas were given using the money extorted by the conman from Aditi Singh.
