    Deepika Padukone talks about her next Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and explained why it's the right to be coming together with the her co-star Hrithik for the first time.

    Deepika Padukone has a bag full of exciting projects lined up for her fans but the one fans are particularly looking forward to is Fighter , her aerial action drama with Hrithik Roshan . Deepika and Hrithik are coming together on screen for the first time and it is something that fans have wanted to see happen for a long time.

    While fans have Siddharth Anand to thanks for making this pairing possible with Fighter, Deepika was asked about the project during an interview and about pairing up with Bollywood’ Greek god. The actress’ answer began on a lightheaded note as she joked, “I mean, have you seen us?”

    The actress was talking to Bollywood Hungama about Fighter and said, “Yeah, I have always wanted to work with him. I feel like it’s the… You know, sometimes it’s not about working with someone. I feel like there are so many things. It has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, the right time in your life. So many things that decide (whether to do a movie or not). So yeah, I guess it’s the right time for us to come together.”

    Deepika and Hrithik’s film is currently in the pre-production stage currently after having been announced. Deepika and Siddharth Anand have Pathan to complete first with Shah Rukh Khan , post which they will hoefully kick off Fighter.

    Hrithik Roshan has worked twice with Siddharth on actioners Bang Bang and War while Deepika apart from Pathan collaborated with the filmmaker on Bachna Ae Haseeno .

    Deepika’s lineup of films also includes projects like Project K with Prabhas , the Indian remake of The Intern with Amitrabh Bachchan, Pathan, Draupadi, and Gehraiyaan which releases next month on Amazon prime Video.
