Deepika Padukone's reply to a fan expressing love proves she is a dedicated wife to Ranveer Singh; Watch

Deepika Padukone has got an avid fan following not only in India but across the world. The actress is recently holidaying in the US with her husband Ranveer Singh . Recently, a fan expressed love for her openly in public, and the actress has a cheeky response to the same.

A video is doing rounds on the internet from an event in the US that Deepika attended as a chief guest. The short clip shows Deepika in a pink salwar suit, sitting with two other ladies on the stage. Suddenly a fan from the crowd is heard shouting, “We love you Deepika”. Listening to this, the actress quickly responded, “ I’m a married woman now”, leaving the audience in splits. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attend and vibe at Shankar Mahadevan's concert ahead of latter's birthday

Earlier in the day, the photos and videos of Deepika with Ranveer from singer Shankar Mahadevan’s concert went viral. They were also accompanied by Deepika's parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha Padukone . Deepika looked lovely in green Salwar-Kameez attire while Ranveer can be seen wearing a yellow Sherwani. A video also surfaced from the concert in which Shankar along with the audience sang ‘Happy Birthday’ for Ranveer in advance while the latter gave a flying kiss to the singer. Watch here:

Reportedly, Deepika will celebrate Ranveer’s birthday on July 6 in Hawaii, US. The couple will be accompanied by their respective parents for the special occasion. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Deepika has been busy shooting for multiple projects including ' Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan , and Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Prabhas . She also has The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Karan Johar ’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Alia Bhatt . He also has Rohit Shetty ’s Cirkus and a Hindi remake of Anniyan in the pipeline.
