Lovebirds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have decided to tie the knot and wanted it to be grand. An inside source revealed that it was Katrina Kaif who suggested the couple to go for Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh palace for their intimate nuptial.

According to reports, Sidharth and Kiara had already decided to marry each other before their appearance on Koffee With Karan 7. It was after the show that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had a good chat with Sidharth and shared their experience of getting married at Six Senses Palace, Rajasthan. And that's how they both asked Sidharth to go royal way for his wedding, as reported by BollywoodLife.

Meanwhile, Sidharth and Kiara and their families have reached the wedding venue and pre-wedding festivities have begun. According to Pinkvilla, the Sangeet ceremony began at 11 pm last night and went on till 4 am. Each of their families gave separate performances on the actors’ popular songs and the couple even joined them on stage. The Haldi and wedding ceremonies are scheduled for February 7 and the couple is expected to wear fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s ensemble.

Also, Sidharth, who is currently living in a lavish apartment in Pali Hill, is keen on moving into a bungalow with Kiara post-marriage. According to a report from Mid-Day, a whopping Rs 70 crore bungalow which spread across 3,500 square-foot property on the 6th road in JVPD has caught the actor’s attention. “However, he will check out all the shortlisted houses again before zeroing in on one. After their shaadi, the couple will move into his Pali Hill home till his dream bungalow is ready,” said the source.
