Actress Richa Chadha ’s controversial tweet had taken Twitter by storm and many sections of the population hurled a severe backlash towards her. Her post was deemed a humiliation towards the Indian armed forces. Not only this but even actor Akshay Kumar criticized the same. But seems like there are also some who have come out in support of Richa and one of them seems to be Prakash Raj . He took a sharp dig at Akshay for calling out the actress’ post.

Talking about the same, Prakash Raj quoted Akshay Kumar’s tweet that condemned Richa Chadha’s now-deleted tweet. The Singham actor stated that he didn’t expect this from Akshay and also said that Richa is currently more relevant to the country than him. This can be assumed as a jibe to the Ram Setu actor’s Canadian citizenship.

Prakash Raj quoted Akshay Kumar’s tweet and said, “Didn’t expect this from you @akshaykumar. Having said that @RichaChadha is more relevant to our country than you sir. #justasking.” Take a look at the tweet.

Needless to say, many netizens trolled Prakash Raj for hurling this taunt toward Akshay Kumar. Many users also questioned why the Jai Bhim actor is allegedly seeking publicity in this matter when Richa Chadha has herself deleted her tweet and has also apologized for the same. One of the netizens stated, “Oh really. #RichaChadha is more relevant than @akshaykumar. Which world are you living in? Or do you think she is as relevant as you? That I agree because your relevance quotient is MINUS - BELOW ZERO. So just zip it.” Another user said, “Hi Prakash, @akshaykumar has paid way more tax and donation to the government of India and its people than you and Richa Chadda combined. Hope you know your relevancy now. No, surprise you because you always support wrong. Keep politics aside and think unbiasedly.”

Akshay Kumar’s tweet on Richa Chadha’s post had read, “Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain (We exist because of them).”
