Music composer Santosh Narayanan revealed that he has roped in actor and pop singer Diljit Dosanjh to lend his talents to the music of Kalki 2898 AD. It is one of the most awaited movies of 2024 as it stars some of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema, including Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.

"So happy to have the amazing @diljitdosanjh on my music for #KALKI2898AD. Thanks paaji for the insane energy! Let’s go crazy from tomorrow boys and girls," said Santosh Narayanan.

It looks like Diljit Dosanjh has sung a song for the movie, and the filmmakers will be making the announcement about the same on Saturday. The filmmakers plan to release Diljit's song as the first single from the movie as they intensify their promotions.

With Diljit Dosanjh's involvement, the project just got bigger as he enjoys a fan following even in foreign countries. The film already boasts a star-studded cast. Besides Prabhas and Kamal Haasan, the movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, making Kalki 2898 AD a truly "pan-Indian" movie in every sense.

The filmmakers, however, have bigger dreams and ambitions for Kalki 2898 AD. The upcoming film is the beginning of a new cinematic universe, which is deeply inspired by India's rich mythological stories.

Writer-director Nag Ashwin has combined elements of sci-fi with mythology, promising a visual spectacle. Earlier this month, the filmmakers unveiled a two-part animated web series to introduce the audience to the world of Kalki. In the series, we were introduced to a few key characters, played by Prabhas, Keerthy Suresh, and Brahmanandam. The series established the backstory and motivations of these characters. The trailer for the movie, released earlier this week, was also a big hit.

Kalki 2898 AD is set to hit the screens on June 27.
