Exclusive: Vikrant Massey on Forensic co-star Radhika Apte’s revelation of being suggested plastic surgery- ‘Not at all shocking’

Actress Radhika Apte is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming psychological crime thriller film Forensic, co-starring Vikrant Massey. Recently during an interview, she made a shocking revelation about how people pressurized her to get plastic surgery done when she had started her journey in the industry. During her first meeting she was told to change her nose whereas in the second meeting somebody suggested that she get breast implants. Someone even mentioned botox! While she did not feel pressurized, these suggestions did make her angry.

Well, Desimartini recently caught up with Vikrant for an exclusive chat about the film. When asked how shocking Radhika’s story was for him, he replied, “Not at all shocking. Because I’ve heard people say that and I know of people who have done that. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong in it. I think, to each their own. Everyone has the freedom of choice. It is not something that is certified as illegal. It totally depends from person to person, if someone feels like getting something done to their face or their body or anything for that matter of fact, it’s entirely their call.”

Sharing his experience of working with Radhika, Vikrant said, “Fantastic. As I said, we always wanted to work together. So finally it materialized into Forensic and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her, she’s one of the easiest actresses to work with. She’s such an effortless actor, she’s so effortless in her craft. I really admire her for a worldview for the way she performs because, you know, she just switches on and she switches off in an instant. And she’s thoroughly gifted as an actor and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her, watching her perform and probably learned a lot of things through her.”

Helmed by Vishal Furia , the film features Radhika as a fearless cop whereas Vikrant is portraying the role of a forensic expert. Also starring Prachi Desai, Forensic will release on ZEE5 on 24th June.
