Exclusive: Vishal Furia on difference between his Vikrant Massey & Radhika Apte starrer Forensic with its Malayalam version

The trailer of the Radhika Apte and Vikrant Massey starrer crime thriller flick Forensic had garnered a lot of buzz. The movie is scheduled to be released on ZEE5 on June 24. The film is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name that starred Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. Desimartini brings out an exclusive quote by director Vishal Furia wherein he speaks on the difference between his movie and the Malayalam version.

Talking about the same, Vishal Furia said, “It retains some bits which made the original film interesting. But changes most of the things to create an almost new story and experience even for the viewers who have seen the original film.” Apart from this, the Chhorri director also spoke about the extensive research that went behind the movie.

Vishal Furia went on to say how forensic science holds a lot of relevance in Forensic. The Bali director said, “Forensic science is factually correct in the film. We used the help of a team of Forensic Experts for the writing as well as during the shoot of the film. Also, some facts on which the story is based are true facts and extremely chilling.”

Forensic also brings together the two talented performers, Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte together for the first time. In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, Vikrant had also shared his experience while working with Radhika. The actor had said, “Fantastic. As I said, we always wanted to work together. So finally it materialized into Forensic and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her, she’s one of the easiest actresses to work with. She’s such an effortless actor, she’s so effortless in her craft. I really admire her for a worldview for the way she performs because, you know, she just switches on and she switches off in an instant. And she’s thoroughly gifted as an actor and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her, watching her perform, and probably learned a lot of things through her.”
