Salman Khan ’s Bigg Boss is undoubtedly one of the most popular and watched reality shows of our country. While there are some who find it cringe and unnecessary, majority of the audience enjoys watching their favorite celebrities fight it out in the BB house. Being a contestant can go in two directions-- either a celebrity garners a huge fan following and becomes a hit, or gets brutally trolled on social media. Well, this year, Aamir Khan ’s brother Faissal Khan was approached for Bigg Boss 16 . However, he decided to decline the offer.

Speaking about the same to ETimes, he shared, “In Bigg Boss, everyone is pitted against each other, they fight, argue and then you’re also given tasks. They play with you mentally. I didn’t want to get trapped in that zone. They give you some money but by Allah’s grace I don’t need much money. So, I thought why should I get caged? Who likes being caged? Everyone likes a free life. That’s fun, you know.”

Faissal further shared that there is no fun in being imprisoned. He explained, “I have been caged once in Aamir’s house. I don’t intend to get caged again. I want to live free and flow like water.” Faissal went on to add that the careers of ex contestants have gone nowhere after they participated in the reality show. Well, a few fans would agree to disagree.

Faissal is not the only celebrity to politely refuse being a part of Bigg Boss 16. Ex Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants Shivangi Joshi, Divyanka Tripathi, Arjun Bijlani and Sriti Jha along with actress Jennifer Winget were approached for the reality show, but decided to give it a pass. Well, Salman will be returning to our screens with Bigg Boss on 1st October. Let’s wait and watch who finally makes it to the BB house this year!
