Farah Khan describes Shah Rukh Khan 'larger than cinema itself' in emotional birthday note on his 57th birthday

On Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan ’s 57th birthday, his close friend and filmmaker Farah Khan penned an emotional note. The choreographer, who shares an unbreakable bond of more than three-decade with the superstar, stated that he made her a filmmaker. She also describes him as ‘larger than cinema itself’ as she wished him on his big day.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Farah shared a montage of throwback photos of herself with the superstar in a form of a video with Main Hoon Na's title track playing in the background. Alongside she wrote, “Mine!! ♥️ my Shah, my friend, mega star, the man who made me a filmmaker, who is a King but so humble, who has the guts to laugh the loudest at himself, larger than cinema itself.. happy birthday @iamsrk am so proud to be ur friend.. ♥️ thank you for all that you are.” Take a look:

Farah and Shah Rukh Khan are not only best friends but they have also worked together and given some blockbuster films. One such film was the 2004 release 'Main Hoon Na' which marked her directorial debut. The duo later collaborated for Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year in 2007 and 2014 respectively. Well, talking about her next venture with Shah Rukh, Farah has once quoted as saying, “With Shah Rukh, I can make a film with him in my sleep. When the timing is right, it will fall into place,” she told Bollywood Hungama.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is making his comeback after over four years with Siddharth Anand’s action drama Pathaan. He sent his fans into a tizzy after he announced Pathaan, which also features John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. It is expected that the makers of Pathaan will unveil the teaser of the film today, i.e November 2 marking the 57th birthday of the superstar. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is slated for January 25, 2023 release.
