Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar to register their wedding next month?

Rumours about the filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar ’s wedding arrived with the New Year 2022. While reports presented a vague account of the couple’s plans of tying the knot sometime this year, the most recent ones have now claimed that they will be married in February.

Farhan and Shibani have been together for over three years and followers of the pair have been dying to see them get married ever since they went official with their relationship on social media. The two actors like most of their contemporaries are unlikely to share a confirmation on their wedding plans but a source close to the couple informed Pinkvilla that the duo will be registering their wedding on February 21. Reports had earlier claimed that the couple had plans of tying the knot in March in an intimate ceremony.

With the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic peaking in India, Farhan and Shibani’s wedding will most likely be a low key affair as has been the case with most pandemic weddings. Preparations of the wedding are already under way.

Shibani and Farhan often express their love for each other with pictures on social media. The actress and VJ in fact, has also got Farhan’s name tattooed on her neck last year in a beautiful font. Recently on Farhan’s birthday, Zoya and Shibani both posted birthday wishes for him writing how 2022 will be his ‘best year’ yet and with this news about the couple’s wedding we couldn’t agree more.

Besides his wedding Farhan is all set to return to filmmaking this year with Jee Le Zara which stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif . He will also make his Hollywood debut with the MCU project Ms. Marvel which is reportedly due to arrive sometime in the middle of the year.
