Fatima Sana Shaikh calls Thar co-star Anil Kapoor her 'support system', credits him for boosting her morale

    Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently riding high on the professional front. The actress will be seen in the movie Thar alongside Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. In a recent media interaction, Fatima was all praises for Anil and also credited him for boosting her morale.

    While talking to India Today, Fatima Sana Shaikh called Anil Kapoor her biggest support system in the film industry. The Dangal actress said, “It is very important to not lose your morale, but there comes a time when you lose your morale and confidence in yourself, and sometimes you have a person like Anil sir who says, 'no beta you are doing well and you should have confidence in yourself and be ready to fail,’ that for me is a big thing.”

    Fatima Sana Shaikh furthermore revealed that she is now reaching out to people and establishing a quality filmography for herself. The Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari actress then also described her working experience with Anil Kapoor on the sets of Thar. Talking about the 1942: A Love Story actor, Fatima said, “The body of work and the stardom he has is unimaginable. Having said that we had a very easy relationship on the sets, it was very warm. I want to work with him again and want to grow with people like him. If that happens I am very happy.”

    Talking about Thar, the revenge noir thriller marks the directorial debut of Raj Singh Chaudhary and is produced by Anil Kapoor Film Company (AKFC). The movie will be streaming on the OTT platform Netflix from May 6, 2022. Earlier speaking about the movie, Anil Kapoor had said, “The genre, a noir thriller set in Rajasthan that pays tribute to the genre of the classic Western is a first for Indian cinema and audiences. ‘Thar’ is a playground where the dynamism of new blood meets the experience of industry stalwarts, both on and off the screen.”
