    The makers of Fighter on Thursday hosted a special screening in which several B-town celebs such as Sonam Kapoor, Saba Azad, Bipasha Basu and others arrived.

    Siddharth Anand aerial actioner Fighter has finally released today and received largely positive reviews from both the audience and critics. On this big day, the makers hosted a special screening for the celebrities. The film’s star cast Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover marked their presence with their family and friends. Sonam Kapoor came with her husband Anand Ahuja to cheer for her father Anil at the screening. Hrithik’s girlfriend Saba Azad also turned up at the star-studded screening. While Deepika’s cheerleader and husband Ranveer Singh gave it a miss.

    Hrithik sported an olive green t-shirt paired with dark green pants and styled it with a beige jacket and a cap. He posed with his ladylove Saba who looked gorgeous in a black dress. Deepika opted for a skin toned sweater which wore over a white shirt and formal pants. Sonam Kapoor looked super stylish in a tailored formal attire, and Anand Ahuja complemented her in a grey three-piece semi-formal suit. Bipasha Basu graced the screening to cheer up Karan Singh Grover, who also plays a pivotal role in Fighter. Among others Arjun Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Imran Khan also attended the screening.

    Fighter revolves around Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan) and his team as they embark on a mission to safeguard the skies as well as the nation. Rishab Sawhney plays the antagonist in the film. Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Talat Aziz, Sanjeev Jaiswal, and Ashutosh Rana, among others also play key roles in the film. Backed by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film is released across nations today, January 25, 2024.

    Earlier, when the first look and teaser of Fighter dropped, netizens had drawn its comparisons with the Hollywood film franchise Top Gun starring Tom Cruise. Addressing the comparison, Siddharth said that it ‘was inevitable’ and also stated that the audience needs to treat Indian films with more respect.
