Freddy star Kartik Aaryan reveals who he is obsessed with in real life; thought THIS of Alaya when they first met

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is on a spree, winning hearts! After killing it at the box office with his horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the handsome hunk is now busy gearing up for his first ever romantic thriller Freddy . The much awaited film also stars Alaya F , who left us impressed with her debut in Jawaani Jaaneman. According to the teasers which have been shared so far, Dr. Freddy Ginwala is a shy dentist who is in love with his patient Kainaaz Kapadia. But the lines between love and obsession have blurred for him.

In a recent chat with News18, Kartik opened up about an incident when a fan got obsessed with the actor. He recalled that she had framed a photo which featured her along with Kartik as a married couple. Calling it a ‘little creepy’, Kartik shared that she reached his building along with it claiming they are married. When asked about his real-life obsession, Kartik revealed that he is obsessed with his work and his pet baby Katori Aaryan . Well, his fans are also quite obsessed with his adorable furry friend!

Talking about his co-star, Kartik shared that it was inspiring to watch Alaya work so hard on set. He was quoted saying, “I didn’t know Alaya before we started working on Freddy but I knew that she’s a talented actor. When I met her, I realized that she’s like a sincere student. She pushes herself to the optimum point. Until she is a hundred percent confident, she will keep doing a scene. This is a special quality, which a lot of actors don’t have.”

Well, we can’t wait to see Kartik and Alaya as Freddy and Kainaaz when their film arrives on digital platform Disney+Hotstar this Friday!
