When Kriti came back crying from a photoshoot
During the interview, Nikhil Kamath asked Kriti Sanon about her life during her college days. She replied that she was a shy person who was getting a lot of attention. She added that she did not feel very confident till she entered Bollywood and said that she has stage fright but the moment she starts performing, she gets into the moment. The actress further said that after she did her first ramp show and photoshoot, she came back crying because she was very conscious, knowing that she had not delivered her best.
Kriti’s first audition
Speaking about following one’s passion, Kriti revealed that her very first audition was for film Student of the Year and that she was horrible at it. She added that one should not give up after one fall and stated that even though she came back crying after modeling, she kept on doing it.
How did Badshah come up with his stage name?
Nikhil then asked the musician about how he came up with his stage name ‘Badshah.’ The musician replied that he is a big Shah Rukh Khan fan and during that time SRK was called Badshah because he had made a film of the same name. The musician also revealed that before deciding on Badshah, he was called CoolEqual as that was his email address at the time.
Badshah on his success story
Speaking about his success story, Badshah revealed that he produced a song called Saturday Saturday which was released locally in 2012 and gained immense popularity.
He further said that actor Varun Dhawan and director Shashank Khaitan were partying in a club in Chandigarh in 2013, when they heard the song there and tried to replicate it, but they couldn’t. Hence the musician got a call from Dharma Productions asking him for the song and called him to Mumbai. Saturday Saturday was featured in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, starring Varun Dhawan.
