Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek’s long-going misunderstanding does not seem to end anytime soon. After Krushna’s tearful apology, Govinda has expressed displeasure over his plea for forgiveness on public forums rather than reaching out personally. He said that the love has to be seen off-camera too, however, he later wished him success and asked to relax.

Recently, the Coolie No.1 actor appeared on Maniesh Paul’s podcast where previously Krushna has urged for his forgiveness on the same platform. During the chat, he opened up about how and why he felt wrong about his estranged nephew. He said he was mainly offended by his comment, ‘mama being a villain’ which he suggested didn't seem to be crafted by the show writer. “He has assumed and presumed that something wrong is happening in his life due to me,” said the actor adding that he has lied about him not going to meet his kids at the hospital when they were born.

When Maneish told him that Krushna was really apologetic on the show, Govinda responded, “Then let the love be seen off-camera too. He’s a well brought-up boy, that shows. But he needs to know that he is being used by writers, and that there is a limit to being used.” He also added that he is surprised to see Krushna using the public platform to apologise instead of reaching out personally. Further, he concluded by addressing Krushna directly, “Keep working hard, there is no problem, relax, may God bless you,”

Last month Krushna appeared on Maniesh's podcast and issued public apology asking Govinda to forgive him, and let bygones be bygones. “Whenever I say something to media, it is cut pasted and shown on their social media. Chi chi mama I miss you and I love you a lot. Please do not pay heed to what you read in the newspaper or what you hear in social media. The thing I miss the most is that I want my babies to play with my mama. I know he misses me too. I know that,”he had said.
