    Actor Sonali Bendre has been away from the industry for quite a few years after she was diagnosed with cancer. After recovering from the same, the actress is all set to return to sizzle on the screen with the OTT web series, The Broken News . Her dear friend and actor Hrithik Roshan turned into a cheerleader for her as she makes an impressive comeback as revealed from the recently released trailer.

    Taking to his Instagram stories, Hrithik posted the trailer of her upcoming series and wrote, “Woah Sonz!! Looking Amazing!!‘She’s back’, and added a fire emoticon. Soon after, Sonali re-posted Hrithik’s stories on her Insta page and captioned it as, “Thank you @hrithikroshan Happy to be back!” Take a look:

    The Broken News marks Sonali’s digital debut and she takes it as a new beginning after a long journey of struggle with cancer. “I do see this like a beginning because I think this is a new phase of my life and this time around, I think the universe has given me a second chance and I need to make good on this second chance," she told TimesNow.

    The upcoming series also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar , and Indraneil Sengupta in prominent roles. The series is reportedly an Indian adaptation of the British series ‘Press’. It tells the story of a rivalry between two news channels based out of Mumbai.

    Coming back to Hrithik Roshan, the actor recently made headlines when he made his relationship with Saba Azad red carpet official. The two attended Karan Johar ’s 50th birthday bash together, where the actor reportedly introduced Saba as his girlfriend to fellow attendees.

    On the work front, the actor is geared up for Vikram Vedha , a remake of the Tamil-language film that featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. He will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan . Besides it, he also has Siddharth Anand’s Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor .
