What could be more exciting than her comeback film Bad Girl, which has been carrying rave reviews because of its gripping trailer, has now been screened at the prestigious Rotterdam Film Festival. Readers may recall that, prior to the festival, Shanthi Priya was super excited about the same and she had every reason to be so.
In an exclusive conversation with Desimartini, Shanthi Priya spoke about the wonderful experience of her film Bad Girl being a part of the prestigious Rotterdam Film Festival. Speaking about the same, Shanthi Priya said, “I can’t even begin to put into words how overwhelmed and ecstatic I feel right now! If there were something like an ‘excitement meter,’ I’m sure mine would be off the charts!
She added, “The kind of love and response I’ve received at the Rotterdam Film Festival for Bad Girl is truly beyond anything I could have imagined. And to top it all off, my film is the only Indian entry in the prestigious Tiger Competition—what an honor!”
Shanthi Priya became a bit nostalgic when she said, “When I first stepped into showbiz, I always believed that my talent would take me places, and it did. But standing at a global stage like the Rotterdam Film Festival feels like a dream come true. This experience is something I will cherish forever. And you know what? This is just the beginning!
