'I never said this' : Urfi Javed clarifies her statement against Ranbir Kapoor, says she was just being sarcastic

Urfi Javed had grabbed several eyeballs recently after she said “Bhaad Main Jaye” to actor Ranbir Kapoor after knowing that the latter has labeled her outfits in a bad taste. However, now she has clarified on her social media handle that her statement was heavily misconstrued and that she had never meant anything negative against Ranbir. For the unversed, Urfi had expressed gratitude towards the actor’s cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan who had praised Urfi’s boldness but had taken this dig at Ranbir at the same time.

Talking about the same, Urfi Javed took to her Instagram story to share a screenshot of a popular paparazzi page reporting about the news of her statement toward Ranbir Kapoor. Sharing the same, she wrote, “I never said this. I was just joking Ki Ranbir Bhaad Main Jaye. Kareena Ne Tareef Kar Di Ab. I was being sarcastic, sarcasm and humor. Whatever Ranbir said was his point of view, I didn’t find anything malicious in his statement. Sach Main Bhaad Main Jaane Ko Nahi Bola Maine.” Take a look at the post.

Apart from this, Urfi Javed also shared a video wherein she was taking a dig at her bold persona both when it comes to clothes and her personality. The Chandra Nandini actress was heard clarifying that she never meant anything wrong against the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor and that some day her behavior will make people beat her up. For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor had appeared on his sister Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show, What Women Want wherein he hinted that he finds Urfi’s clothing choices in bad taste. But Kareena on the other hand, praised Urfi saying that she possesses the confidence, boldness and guts which is required to carry out the outfits that she wears. Urfi Javed could not stop expressing her gratitude toward the Heroine actress for the praise while taking that dig at Ranbir at the same time.
