Ishaan Khatter’s mother Neelima Azim on his rumored GF Ananya Panday: ‘She’s an important part of his life’

Young actors Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday became really good friends while shooting their 2020 film Khaali Peeli. Fans gushed over their cute chemistry in the masala entertainer and soon reports revealed that their on-screen romance had resulted in an off-screen love story. The two have been inseparable ever since. May it be holidaying in Maldives and Ranthambore, or making fans go aww with their loved up snaps from Shahid Kapoor ’s birthday bash-- Ananya and Ishaan seem to be spending all their free time together, getting to know one another better.

Well, in a recent interview with India Today, Ishaan’s mother and veteran actress Neelima Azim opened up about his lady love. She was quoted saying, “I can say that she (Ananya) has also learnt dancing from me. She is a part of our inner circle and family circle. She is a good friend of Shahid (Kapoor) and Mira (Rajput). And obviously, she is an important part of Ishaan's life. I would say that they are great buddies and good companions. With his friends also, she fits in very well.” Azim also lauded Ananya’s performance in her last film, Gehraiyaan, and said that the actress has ‘come shining through’.

Meanwhile on the work front, Ishaan will next be seen in the upcoming horror comedy Phone Bhoot with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi, whereas Ananya has some pretty exciting projects in the pipeline including Liger opposite Vijay Deverakonda , and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan co-starring Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav.
