It's a girl, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcome their little princess and we are crying tears of joy

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have become parents to a baby girl. Yes, you heard it right! Ranlia fans, its time to rejoice as Alia and Ranbir have finally embraced parenthood, and it's a little princess that comes bearing happiness for them. Alia delivered her baby at the HN Reliance hospital today (November 6).

Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle to share the happy news. She shared a beautiful portrait of a lion, a lioness, and their baby cup being huddled up with each other. Alia captioned the same stating, "And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents. Love, Love Love, Alia and Ranbir

Anushka Sharma was one of the early celebrities to congratulate the couple. She took to her Instagram stories to state, "Heartiest congratulations to the parents and lots of love and blessings to the baby girl." Other celebs like Kriti Sanon, Zoya Akhtar, Sophie Choudhry, Shweta Bachchan, Neha Dhupia, Ishaan Khatter, Mouni Roy, and Rhea Kapoor also congratulated the actress. Alia was spotted at 7:30 am today at the same hospital where her father-in-law Rishi Kapoor had passed away. However, there were speculations that the couple might have checked in for a regular checkup. But needless to say, the Ranlia fandom got their little bundle of happiness today.

The actress’ delivery date was reportedly towards the end of this month, between November 28 and November 30. But their munchkin arrived early on for them. We also wonder the name the new parents have thought for their newborn daughter. 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced their pregnancy in June this year with an endearing picture that had them staring at Alia’s sonography report on the X-ray machine. Ever since then, we couldn’t wait for the couple to welcome their little bundle of happiness. The Kapoors and the Bhatts also hosted a loving baby shower for Alia recently.

Amidst Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy, a throwback video had been going viral wherein a child contestant from a reality show had misspelled her name as Almaa. To this, the Raazi actress had said, “Almaa bahut hi sundar naam hai, main apni beti ka naam Almaa rakhungi. (Almaa is a very beautiful name, I will name my daughter Almaa.” Now, we wonder if Alia already has an option for the name of her newborn angel.
