    Mrunal Thakur has recently quashed the rumours of having two college degrees after completing school. The actress revealed that she could not complete her studies and was kicked out of college due to low attendance.

    The Jersey actress in an interview with Mashable India was asked about her two degrees as mentioned in her Wikipedia profile. Although she denied it to be true but jokingly thanked whoever has written or edited the news.“That is wrong. Whoever has written that or edited that to Wikipedia, I am quite thankful. But I do not have any degree. I was kicked out of college. I was detained from KC actually because I had attendance problems," she clarified.

    Mrunal was studying mass communication at Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College) when she got her first acting job. In an effort to focus on her job, she was not able to complete her college degree. "Second year, I got really focused (on work). I knew what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to face the camera, and the moment I got an opportunity I was like this is something I am never gonna miss for anything in the world. So I just grabbed it." she added.

    In 2012, the actress began her acting career with Star Plus show Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan. She went on to appear in Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya and later made her film debut with the Marathi film, Vitti Dandu. She made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film Love Sonia which also starred Manoj Bajpayee , Richa Chadda, Anupam Kher, and Rajkummar Rao. She then shot to fame with her appearance in Super 30 alongside Hrithik Roshan .

    Meanwhile, Mrunal was last seen in Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor which was released in theatres in April this year. The film was critically appreciated but could not perform well at the box office. The actress will be next seen alongside Abhimanyu Dassani and Paresh Rawal in the multi-starrer comedy Aankh Micholi , and in the war action film Pippa as the younger sister of Ishaan Khatter 's character Brigadier Mehta.
