    After Covid-19 related delays the calanders of Bollywoos stars have only gotten busier and their pay cheques fatter. John Abraham seems to the latest entrant on this list who is said to have hiked his fee by three times in three years. The star has a bunch of exciting projects lined up and his fee for each is apparently higher than the last.

    In 2022, John will be seen in three mega films Attack, Pathan and Ek Villain Returns if all goes as planned and there are no more Covid-19 related delays. Pathan will see John play a villain to Shah Rukh Khan played hero. With a lot pressure on the project to be a success, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that this project does well.

    So it won’t be wrong if one expects that this star versus star saga to be paying John a hefty fee. However, recent reports have revealed that he has gotten a bigger pay cheque for Mohit Suri directed Ek Villain Returns where John goes head to head with Arjun Kapoor .

    According to Bollywood Hungama report John has been gradually increasing his fee project after project since Stayamev Jayate released in 2019. In his duration he has seen the release of projects like Batla House , Pagalpanti , Stayamev Jayate 2 and Mumbai Saga while his fee has reportedly gone up from Rs. 7 crores project to Rs. 21 crores.

    According the source of the portal, John charged for Ek Villain Returns than he did for Pathan which he had signed first but has been facing numerous delays.

    While Pathan is yet to get an official announcement or release date, Ek Villain Returns which is a sequel to Sidharth Malhotra starrer 2014 film, has set a release date of July 8.
