Anil Kapoor , Neetu Kapoor , Varun Dhawan , and Kiara Advani starrer family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo released into the theatres on June 24 and witnessed a good opening along with a decent review from the critics. While the movie is still enjoying a good foothold in the theatres, it witnessed a slight drop after its first Monday. The film managed to earn Rs 4-5 crore on its fourth day.

Talking about the same, the early estimates suggest that this drop is less than 50%. Now the total collections of Jugjugg Jeeyo stand at Rs 40 to 42 crore. The movie is now fast inching towards the Rs 50 crore mark and if a steady performance at the box office continues, the film might do even better.

Jugjugg Jeeyo had earned Rs 14.50 crore after its first weekend and had emerged as a clear box office winner. The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer had opened to a decent opening of Rs 9.28 crore and had witnessed a further increase in its day 2 collections where it earned Rs 12.55 crore. A news report in Box Office India had earlier reported, “Jugjugg Jeeyo did pretty well on Sunday as it collected around 14.50 crore nett as the mass markets show very good growth on Sunday and it has reasonably growth of 20% overall. The weekend of the film is pretty good recording business around 35 crore nett and it is good considering what has gone before over the last six months. The weekend trajectory suggests that the film should hold well at least in the bigger multiplexes which is the target audience for the film."

Desimartini’s review for the film read, “Jugjugg Jeeyo marries all cliches of a family entertainer with a fresh story which is refreshing in a manner you might not have anticipated. The subject of the movie about two divorces and a wedding is obviously aimed at a metropolitan audience but it is where the magic of good writing steps in and makes Jugjugg Jeeyo an entertainer for everybody.”
