It is predicted that the film will have an opening collection of Rs 8-10 crore at the box office.

Directed by Raj A Mehta, the film focuses on the complexities of relationships after marriage and deals with the subject of divorce with great understanding. Produced by Karan Johar 's Dharma Production, the comedy-drama is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 100 crore. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film’s screen count in India is about 3,375 with 11, 384 plus shows per day. While overseas, it has been released on 1,014 screens, taking a total of 4,400 screens. According to Pinkvilla reports, the advance booking is performing fairly well in cities like Delhi- NCR, Mumbai, and Pune. The overseas booking also showed good responses in Australia, the US, and the UK.

The film has a solo release at the box office, however, it will face competition with long-running Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film has already failed to make the desired impact on ticket sales with total sales at 15,500, and when compared to Kartik Aaryan ’s horror-comedy, that would be 50% of ticket sales for Day 1 as the Kartik starrer sold 30,900 tickets. Meanwhile, it is yet to be seen how Varun Dhawan’s comedy-drama performs on the opening weekend.
