'Just coz her father is SRK': Suhana becomes brand ambassador of beauty brand ahead of Bollywood debut, gets trolled

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan gave her first speech as she became a brand ambassador for the New York-based beauty brand, Maybelline. It was her first media event before her Bollywood debut with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s next The Archies . However, her association with the international brand seemed a ‘privilege’ to the netizens as they questioned her achievements.

Suhana’s speech video is doing rounds on the internet wherein she could be seen dressed in a red pantsuit. In her speech, she expressed her excitement to be part of the brand. She was also seen hugging PV Sindhu and Ananya Birla before her speech. Reacting to the short clip, one of the netizens wrote, “What's her achievement to be the brand ambassador of Maybelline..daughter of SRK..really?” Another user commented, “Paida hui ni brand ambassador ban gayi”(Just born and became brand ambassador). One of them even commented on her physical appearance and said, “Look at her tomboy's face... Does she deserve to be a brand ambassador for a beauty product... Nepo kid.” Watch the video here:

Suhana had dropped hints about her collaboration with pictures from NYC on her Instagram stories. She also shared a short clip of herself before her makeup from Mumbai, and captioned it as, “Just kidding hehe but getting ready for something super exciting”.For the unversed, the star kid studied at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. Meanwhile, she is awaiting the release of her upcoming debut movie, The Archies, which is a coming-of-age live-action musical set in 1960s India, based on the comic book series of the same name. Besides her, the film also marks the acting debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. The film is set to release on the streaming giant Netflix, this year.
