Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali director Farhad Samji on his rumoured fallout with Salman Khan, says 'silence is golden'

    While there is no doubt that Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the most awaited movies of the superstars on the block, it has not been left untouched by its fair share of controversies. There have been reports of a fallout between the film’s director Farhad Samji and Salman’s production house Salman Khan Films.

    While there is no doubt that Salman Khan ’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the most awaited movies of the superstars on the block, it has not been left untouched by its fair share of controversies. There have been reports of a fallout between the film’s director Farhad Samji and Salman’s production house Salman Khan Films. There have been rumors that the filmmaker is not pleased with the interference of the actor’s production company in the whole filmmaking process and may also step down from the director’s chair. Now, in a recent interview, Farhad has finally addressed these speculations.

    In an interview with Pinkvilla, Farhad Samji was quick to rubbish these rumors. The director said, “Everyone is writing their own version of the film, but we have not made any official announcement. The media is either reading my mind or just doing some sort of prediction. I truly believe, that silence is golden."

    Apart from this, the Bachchhan Paanday director also hinted that he will not speak much about Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and will let the audience decide its fate when it is finally released on to the big screens. Farhad Samji went on to say, “We will speak about the film and release all our assets at the right time. We are working very hard every day and I don’t want to get into the zone of praising myself or my team or the film. Let the audience decide and pass a judgment when we release the film in cinema hall by year-end. We are working very hard.”

    The movie has been grabbing some eyeballs for some troubling developments after Aayush Sharma also walked out of the movie due to rumored creative differences with the makers and Jassie Gill stepped into his shoes. There were earlier reports that Shehnaaz Gill who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the movie is also contemplating stepping out of the movie. The film also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role.
