Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu to become parents in 2022; announce pregnancy on New Year's Day

Actress Kajal Agarwal is expecting her first child with husband Gautam Kitchlu. The news was a big rumour at first which found a rather subtle confirmation in a New Year’s post shared by the actress’ businessman husband. The excitement level on the post shared by Gautam was note worthy as fans flooded the comments with congratulatory messages.

Gautam shared a picture of Kajal in yellow outfit and captioned the post ‘Here’s looking at you 2022’ with a pregnant woman emoji inserted right next to it. The couple had on New Year’s Day also shared pictures from a bash they attended together where Kajal shimmered in a green coloured gown.

The actress shared pictures with Gautam and wrote in the caption, "So, I close my eyes to old ends. Open my eyes to new beginnings! Happy new year fam, Immensely grateful for 2021 Look forward to entering 22 with wisdom, kindness and love in our hearts :)"

Kajal and Gautam had tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in October 2020. The couple got married in Mumbai after dating for three years. They had been friends for about seven years before that and were introduced to each other by common friends.

Post their wedding Kajal often shared loved up pictures with Gautam. On their first wedding anniversary she penned a lovely note for her husband saying, “I love you even when you whisper in the middle of the night “are you awake? I need to show you this dog video” 😳Happy 1st anniversary from the best thing that ever happened to YOU! @kitchlug.”

On the work front, the actress has been busy working on the film Acharya, which stars CHiranjeevi. The actress was earlier reported to informed the makers of her pregnancy. These reports also claimed that she’s hoping to wrap up all her pending work quickly.

Kajal will next be seen in Hey Sinamika with Dulquer Salmaan which is expected to release in February. Her pending projects also include Indian 2 and Paris Paris
