Today marks the 48th birthday of our favorite onscreen ‘Anjali’ aka Kajol . Over the years of her glorious filmography, the actress has time and again proved her versatility with some phenomenal performances but what also made her unique from her other contemporaries is her vivacious and high-spirited persona. Her effervescent aura and transparent manner of conducting herself only made her more relatable and magnetic amongst her loyal fanbase.

Remember her camaraderie with her husband Ajay Devgn in Koffee With Karan 6? When Ajay told on the show that every actor lies about loving their wife, Kajol was quick to tell, “Hamper or no hamper, tumhe to ghar hi jaana hai.” And who can forget that exasperated expression of the actress when her husband forgot the year of their wedding anniversary? It was moments like these that made us gush over her brash and hilarious antics. While fans love her chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan onscreen, do you know that she also got off the wrong foot with him when they met for the first time on the sets of Baazigar? In an old interview, Shah Rukh Khan got candid about how chatter some Kajol was when he first met her on New Year’s day (January 1). Shah Rukh also revealed that his first impression of the actress was, “What kind of an actress is she, can't she be quiet for some time?" but his co-star was also not far behind in pulling his leg. In her true unabashed form, Kajol blurted out that she found SRK to be a huge grump.

Not only this but Kajol was once asked in an interview which hypothetical blockbuster film would she love to star in if it would be the last film of her career.
