Kajol never wanted to be a Bollywood actress, wanted to do a job

The gorgeous and very talented Kajol is not only one of the most well-known actresses of the industry, but also an extremely relatable personality. This is because while she has wowed us with her characters in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Fanaa and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham to name a few, she’s an equal delight when she’s just herself. May it be on chat shows like Koffee With Karan or during her appearances on reality television.

Well, recently Kajol graced the stage of Kon Honaar Crorepati, the Marathi version of Kaun Banega Crorepati . During the episode, she revealed that she initially wanted to find a job and did not have any plans of becoming an actress. The award winning film star shared, “I never wanted to become a part of the Bollywood or Hindi Film industry. I did not want to enter the industry as an actress. I always wanted to do a job. A job where I could get a pay cheque in my account every month.”

Now that is definitely a shocker, especially when you look at the incredible work she has done over the years. Even with her last release on Netflix , titled Tribhanga, Kajol proved that she is a gifted actor and made fans feel that she was born to be a star. May it be her dialogue delivery, her acting chops or even her screen presence. Well, it’s nice how things worked out.
