    Kangana took to her Instagram stories and mentioned none other than Tabu as the actress who in her 50s is totally killing it. Her films Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2 has got massive success at the box office, reviving the failing Bollywood business, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Kangana Ranaut often takes to her social media to share her opinion on almost everything related to Bollywood and in fact sometimes on national issues. Recently, the actress took into consideration the talent and consistency of one of the Bollywood actresses whom she felt is playing a significant role in saving the Hindi industry with her films. She penned an appreciation note for her and said, “women deserve much more credit for their unwavering dedication to their work”.

Her films Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2 has got massive success at the box office, reviving the failing Bollywood business, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. “Only two Hindi films have worked this year – Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2… and both films have superstar Tabu ji in central roles, slaying in her 50s… single-handedly saving the Hindi film industry. Her talent and consistency have never been questioned but to look her best and reach the peak of her stardom in her fifties is commendable. I think women deserve much more credit for their unwavering dedication to their work… Such an inspiration.”

    Over the years, Tabu has been associated with several movies and stood out from the crowd with versatility. From her teenage role in Dev Anand's Hum Naujawan (1985), to her role in Drishyam 2 (2022) the actress has come a long way and has always proved his mettle as an incredible actress not only in Hindi cinema but in other regional cinemas. According to reports, Drishyam has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in just three days of release.

    Meanwhile, Kangana has been busy directing and acting in her upcoming project, Emergency , in which she will be seen playing the role of the first woman Prime Minister of India, the late Indira Gandhi. The film also has Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, and Mahima Choudhary in the key roles. It is slated to hit theatres in 2023.
