    Kangana Ranaut recently cherished a moment with legendary actress Rekha from the 2019 Marathi Gaurav event in Mumbai. She remembered an old statement that the veteran actress made about her and called it a ‘greatest compliment ever.’

    During the event, Kangana presented a special award to Rekha. While accepting the award, Rekha gushed about Kangana saying that if she had a daughter she would have been like her. Recently, a fan account shared Rekha’s old statement on Instagram, re-sharing it on her Instagram stories, the actress wrote, “greatest compliment ever”. Have a look:

    Recently, Kangana also shared a congratulatory message to the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde on Instagram. Sharing the photo of the new CM, she wrote, "What an inspiring success story....From driving auto-rickshaw for a living to becoming of the most important and powerful people in the country...congratulations sir."

    On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in the action-thriller Dhaakad alongside Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta . The movie made on a big scale failed to perform at the box office. It is now set to release on the OTT platform ZEE5 today, i.e July 1. Sharing the news, Kangana wrote. “Agent Agni is all set for an epic face-off against Rudraveer! Watch them clash in #Dhaakad on the 1st of July only on @ZEE5.”

    Meanwhile, Kangana is geared up for the release of her upcoming film Tejas which is set to release later in 2022. The film follows the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut, who was the first of the country's defence forces to induct women into combat roles. Besides it, she also has Emergency, based on the life of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi . Her upcoming project also includes Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda and The Incarnation: Sita in the pipeline.
