Urfi Javed attended the launch of ace designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil’s store launch in Mumbai yesterday (March 17). Needless to say, it was her sartorial choice that garnered all the attention but for the wrong reasons. The actress soon got brutally trolled by the netizens for her choice of look on the occasion.

The actress went for a super bold look wherein she opted for an embellished and bejeweled belt-like material that she wrapped around her breasts. She opted for a thigh-slit Dhoti-like skirt which was let loose while being strung with a belt around her waistline. Urfi Javed furthermore paired up the look with a black Dupatta on the side and a glove on her other hand. The look was all black.

To top it all, the Chandra Nandini actress went for an extravagant black Maangtika as the man accessory. She furthermore opted for radiant makeup to flaunt her flawless skin with her hair neatly tied up. Take a look at the videos of Urfi from the event.

No sooner did her look go viral on social media than the actress was mercilessly trolled by the netizens. One of the netizens stated, “Itna bhi mat pahan bahan tu , ye bhi kyo pahna hai” while another user said, “Kapdo ko bhi sharam aati hogi , hum iskey badan pey kyun hain.” A netizen furthermore said, “Just drawing attention by wearing skimpy clothes. No style, no grace.” Another user added that a strict action should be taken against the actress and that even in America, women do not roam around on the streets wearing such clothes. The comment read, “Plz govt. take a strong action ... America me v ladkiya aise nhi ghumti...Desh badal raha hai iska matlab ye nhi ki kuch v kare...choti choti ladkiya kya sikhenge esse dekh k...or aap news channel walo ko kya yehi dikhana hota hai... disgusting.”

Recently, Urfi Javed was in the news after she filed an FIR against a politician whom she alleged was threatening her in the public domain. Urfi stated that the politician in question had raised objections about her choice of clothes and was alleging that the actress is damaging today’s youth. Another petition has been filed against the former Bigg Boss OTT contestant to get her banned from all the Kabristan in Mumbai.
