Kapil Sharma to share screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu in the women-led film The Crew

    After his acting prowess was praised in Nandita Das’ Zwigato, actor-comedian Kapil Sharma will now be seen in Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s joint venture The Crew . He will be sharing the screen space with a talented star cast that boasts of Kareena Kapoor Khan , Kriti Sanon , Tabu , and others. The movie is said to be a women-led project and this development might come as delightful news for all the fans of Kapil out there.

    A source close to the development revealed the same to Pinkvilla stating, “Kapil has an amazing role in The Crew, and the team is extremely excited to have him onboard. In fact, his role will be a pleasant surprise for the audience. He will start filming for it soon.” Reportedly Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon start shooting for her portions of the movie while Kriti Sanon had already begun filming for the same. Both Kareena and Kriti will also start shooting with Tabu for all their scenes together along with heading off to an international location for the same.

    Meanwhile, the movie also marks the reunion of Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor who had earlier produced the girl gang film Veerey Di Wedding which was a commercial success. An earlier statement about The Crew described the movie to be an absolute laugh-riot, set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. The film has three women essayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu who work and hustle to make it in life. However, their destinies lead to some unwarranted situations and they get caught in a web of lies. The Crew was further described as a rib-tickling ride of comedy of errors and mishaps.

    Well, it will be interesting to see Kapil Sharma in this women-oriented project. Fans might be even excited to see him share the screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The comedian also made his debut recently in her talk show, What Women Want.
