Karan Johar has found his new Poo for the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham sequel in this actor

Karan Johar seems to have found the new Poo for his Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham sequel, if there ever is one. The filmmaker and producer has found the new Poo in actor Kunal Kapoor after seeing him in a recent ad film.

Kunal can be seen rocking a heavy lehenga skirt on a golf course while the ad also features Chitrangada Singh. Tweeting the video, Karan said he’d cast the actor as the next Poo with the hashtag #LooksGoodOnYou.

“If there’s ever a #K3G sequel, just know you’ll be Poo! #LooksGoodOnYou,” he wrote.

Kareena Kapoor played the fashionista Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001 and became a modern day icon with the role. The character from the Karan Johar directed family blockbuster has in fact inspired many of the young actresses in Bollywood today.

Jokes aside, many fans would love to hear an announcement from Karan regarding a sequel to K3G, the filmmaker had in fact a decade ago admitted that he’d not be averse to the idea of actually making a sequel bringing back the original cast. However, he later said that there would never be a sequel to the movie.

Not just Karan Amitabh Bachchan in fact even had ideas about how the story of the movie could carry on. He even used to share them on his blog almost a decade ago.

K3G starred Hrithik Roshan , Kareena Kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in key roles apart from Amitabh. To bring this band of superstars back together would admittedly make for a very expensive project and also a very ambitious one.

For now, the filmmaker is busy working on his next directorial project Rock Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which stars Alia Bhatt , Ranveer Singh , Dharmendra , Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi .
