Karan Johar is a beaming birthday boy as he cuts his three-layered cake, close pal Gauri Khan shares a glimpse

Karan Johar celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday (May 25) and was flooded with some warm wishes from the film fraternity members and his fans. The director-producer hosted a starry glitter-themed birthday bash which saw the crème-de-la-crème of Bollywood attend the same. However, before that, the filmmaker had celebrated his special day in the presence of his close friends and cut his three-layered cake.

Talking about the same, superstar Shah Rukh Khan ’s wife and Karan Johar’s close friend Gauri Khan shared a video that had a glimpse of the producer cutting his birthday cake. One can also see director Farah Khan cheering for the birthday boy as he cuts his cake. The celebration also saw designer Manish Malhotra and Maheep Kapoor in attendance.

Gauri Khan captioned the same stating, “Happy Birthday. You are truly the One & Only” along with a red heart emoji. Fans also bestowed some warm wishes to Karan Johar on the post. Take a look at the same.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash was held in the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The grand celebration was attended by some of the biggest names in the industry namely Aamir Khan , Salman Khan , Ranveer Singh , Anushka Sharma, Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir Kapoor , and Varun Dhawan , Kiara Advani , Kriti Sanon , Hrithik Roshan , Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora and many more. The birthday boy opted for a blingy green attire, keeping up with the glittery theme of the birthday bash.

Not only this but Karan Johar also had a joyous announcement for his fans. The director announced that his upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be released on February 10, 2023. Apart from that, KJo also stated that he will begin working on his ambitious action flick in April 2023. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
