'Karan Johar Ji ko special privileges ki aadat lag gayi hai': Kangana Ranaut lashes out over Brahmastra collections

Kangana Ranaut has been lashing out at producer-director Karan Johar ever since the box office figures of his latest outing Brahmastra have been coming in. The actress has alleged that KJo has hired a special ‘PR machinery’ to declare the fantasy film as a blockbuster. Now, the actress took to her social media handle to further bash Karan over getting alleged special privileges for himself when it comes to his movie being touted as a super hit.

Talking about the same, Kangana Ranaut shared a link to a post that spoke about Brahmastra entering the Rs 200 crore club and a post-pandemic verdict model explaining the same. Kangana captioned the same stating, “Post pandemic verdict model especially invented for Karan Johar films. BTW Thugs Of Hindostan earned Rs 280 cr worldwide gross and its budget was also the same Lekin they didn’t spend on PR machinery Nahi Toh with new KJo’s models, no film will ever flop.”

Kangana Ranaut also shared Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet wherein he laughs over the comparison between the box office figures of his film, The Kashmir Files, and Brahmastra. She captioned it, “Also the audacity to belittle a film like Kashmir Files which was made on the Hindu genocide and trying to cash in on its success. The Kashmir Files was made in 10 crores and now according to Karan Johar mafia minions, Brahmastra has beaten it brutally. Karan Johar Ji aap kya cheez ho yaar.”

Furthermore, Kangana said, “Race 3 was made in the budget of 130 crores and earned 300 crores, same as Brahmastra which has the entire North and South industry stars in it and was made in a budget of 600 crore in 12 years. But same trade analysts declared Race 3 disaster lekin Karan Johar Ji ko special privileges ki aadat lag gayi hai so he invented a model for himself.” Lastly, Kangana Ranaut shared a Forbes report according to which Brahmastra’s box office numbers have gone down.

She stated, “Karan Johar is so busy planning the success party of Brahmastra and shooting part 2 that isko paisa dena bhul gaye. Isko kehte hain comedy of errors.” She also shared the trade analyst's tweet. 

Talking about Brahmastra’s box office collections, the movie has reportedly entered the Rs 200 crore club after its second weekend. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for her film Emergency .
