While filmmaker Karan Johar found Anushka Sharma ‘exceptionally stylist’, netizens weren’t quite impressed with her latest fashion outing and started a troll fest. The actress was recently spotted in the city post an advertisement shoot. She was dressed in an oversized printed shirt paired with ripped blue denim. She sported stylish sunglasses to complete her look.

A video is doing rounds on the internet wherein she could be seen posing for the paparazzi. She waved at them before stepping into her car and leaving. Soon after the video surfaced, netizens flooded the comment section with reactions targeting her clothes. “Itni gareebi full kapde ke liye paise nahi hai” wrote one of the users. Anushka recently sizzled at the Bollywood Hungama Style Icon Awards in a beautiful dress. Following which Karan has given a shout out to her fashion statement, Taking to his Instagram stories, he wrote, “Anushka Sharma is exceptionally stylish and so individualistic in her approach to fashion…Nailing every look…Always! That's all…(IYKYK)” The actress was quick to notice and re-shared the appreciation post with a heart emoticon on her Instagram stories. Just a few days ago, she rocked a purple bodycon dress at Indian Sports Honours. She was accompanied by her cricketer-husband, Virat Kohli, at the event.

Meanwhile, workwise, the actress is returning to the silver screen after a hiatus of five years with sports drama, Chakda Express . She will be seen playing the role of women's cricket fast bowler Jhulan Goswami in the movie. Directed by Prosit Roy, the film is expected to release on streaming platform Netflix in 2023.
