Karan Johar to launch Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan in Hridyam remake?

Bollywood is brimming with young talents and the latest addition to the list is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan . The star kid is likely to be launched by filmmaker Karan Johar in the Hridayam remake as per reports.

Karan and Star Studios have bought the rights to Malayalam film Hridayam which starred Pranav Mohanlal , Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran in the lead. According to a source close to Bollywood Hungama , the filmmaker intends to launch Ibrahim in the upcoming remake.

Hridyam follows the emotional journey of a carefree engineering student and how he matures through various phases of life. The source said that Karan has been looking for a suitable launch film for Ibrahim and thought that the character of Hridyam will be perfect for him. “It is the best project for Ibrahim’s launch. For some time now, Karan is looking for a suitable launch film for Ibrahim. The character in Hridayam of a brash student maturing into marriage and fatherhood is just right for Ibrahim,” said the source.

Earlier, Karan was set to launch Ibrahim’s sister Sara Ali Khan, but things did not work out. Hence, she ended up being launched by Abhishek Kapoor ’s Kedarnath . However, this time Karan is making sure that he gives the Khan scion the best possible launch.

Ibrahim is currently assisting Karan in his next directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani . The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The film also has veteran actors like Dharmendra , Shabana Azmi , and Jaya Bachchan.

Meanwhile, Hridyam is Karan’s second Hindi adaptation of a Malayalam film after Selfiee , a remake of the Malayalam hit Driving License. The film will feature Akshay Kumar , Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead.
