Ace filmmaker-producer Karan Johar had hosted his star-studded 50th birthday bash for all his industry friends on May 25. The event saw the crème-de-la-crème of Bollywood right from the gen-z actors to the 3 Khans. However, now the latest report states that even though the party was a huge success, it has now left around 50 to 55 guests COVID-19 positive.

Yes, you heard that right! according to a news report in Bollywood Hungama , around 50 to 55 guests of Karan Johar have tested positive for COVID-19 after attending the bash. Not only this but the report stated that the names of those who have tested COVID-19 positive also include some big names from the film industry. The report quoted a source close to the development to reveal, “Several of Karan’s close friends from the Bollywood film industry are Covid-infected after the party, although they not revealing that they’ve tested positive. In fact, Kartik Aaryan who was not at Karan Johar’s party tested positive for Covid, he got the virus from one of his heroines who were there at the party and with whom Kartik was promoting his film.”

The heroine in question might be none other than Kiara Advani who was seen attending Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash and also was seen promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan. Earlier also, Karan was allegedly accused of being responsible for spreading the virus from a social gathering at his place which had left his close friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora COVID-19 positive. However, the director had shared an official statement rubbishing these speculations.

I’m going to the court, don’t worry. Merely saying that the credit has been given because the song is well-written and would make their movie a hit. I never gave you the song, I never gave anybody the rights to my song. It belongs to me, so I’ll get it back and I’m coming to the court, see you there.”
