Today, Kartik Aaryan is one of the leading actors in Bollywood. He made his acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchanama. Busy promoting the release of his upcoming film, Chandu Champion, Kartik spoke about his days of struggling to make it big after the release date of Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He said that he had become an actor but had no more work to do. The actor added that he rejected a lot of bad film offers that came his way because he only wanted to do good work.

During a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Kartik Aaryan was shown a picture from the music launch event of his first film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Reacting to the picture, the actor revealed that at the time he was scared because he had become an actor with his debut film but had no work after that. He added, “Picture chal bhi gayi thi lekin paise nahi tha (The film had worked but I had no money).”
Kartik Aaryan on having self-belief
Speaking more about that phase of his life, Kartik said that he rejected a lot of film offers, even though he had no money to survive in Mumbai. He said that even after the release of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, he rejected a few offers that came his way, which could have given him easy money. “Wo self-belief rakhna chahta tha ki acchi filme karna chahta hu and it has paid off (I wanted to retain my self-belief that I want to star in only good films and that has paid off),” he added.
Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a romantic comedy film about three couples and their problems. The film was a massive hit and is still remembered for its witty dialogue. Kartik gained popularity for his long monologue in the film, which the audience still remembers.
Kartik will be seen next in Kabir Khan’s sports drama film Chandu Champion, which is based on the real-life story of India’s first paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. The film is all set to hit theatres on June 14.
