Kartik Aaryan reveals bizarre promises fans make while approaching his mother with 'rishtas' to marry him

Kartik Aaryan is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Recently, the actor appeared on comedian Tanmay Bhatt’s YouTube video for an interview and revealed some interesting anecdotes about his life. The actor said he never told his parents about his dream of becoming an actor. And also, he shared an instance about his crazy and obsessive fan.

The actor said that he came to Mumbai after clearing DY Patil’s entrance exam to study further. However, he was actually auditioning here but his parents never knew. It was when he cracked Luv Ranjan’s Pyar Ka Punchnama, that he told his parents that he actually came to Mumbai to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor.

The Love Aaj Kal further revealed that his mother and aunt reached Luv Ranjan sir’s office the day after. They were shocked to see his romantic scene on an audition tape as they believed that he was studying here.

Furthermore, when Kartik was asked about his encounters with obsessive fans. He revealed that once his mother was stalked by a fan who wanted to become her daughter-in-law and was ready to do even “Jhadoo pochha” (sweeping and moping).

For unversed, Kartik began his acting career with Luv Ranjan’s Pyar Ka Punchnama in 2011. He later worked in movies like Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chhupi, and Love Aaj Kal and rose to become one of the most promising actors in recent times. He is now gearing up for his upcoming standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Directed by Anees Bazmee , Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also stars Kiara Advani , Tabu , Rajpal Yadav , and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. Produced by Bhushan Kumar , Murad Khetani , Anjum Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios, the film is set to release in theatres on May 20.
