After winning hearts with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and leaving us in awe of his versatility with Freddy, Kartik Aaryan began gearing up for his new release Shehzada . He went on a hectic promotional spree where he visited different cities to leave no stones unturned in making his action entertainer one of the most awaited films. Ahead of the release on Friday, Kartik decided to seek God’s blessings and reached the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai with his parents. But sadly his Lamborghini got him into trouble with the Mumbai Traffic Police after he apparently parked the luxury car on the wrong side.

The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a challan on the Bollywood heartthrob for ‘flouting rules’. But what has taken social media by storm is their hilarious post on Twitter, where they taunted Kartik by going full on filmy. Along with a picture of the actor’s car, the number plate blurred, the official handle of Mumbai Traffic Police tweeted: “Problem? Problem yeh thi ki the car was parked on the wrong side! Don't do the 'Bhool' of thinking that 'Shehzadaas' can flout traffic rules. #RulesAajKalAndForever.” Well, we are sure Kartik has received the message.

However, there are some netizens who are wondering if the Mumbai Traffic Police is also promoting Kartik’s new film. For instance, a message in the comment section below read: “Is Mumbai Police now doing paid promotions for new films?🤔🤔🤔” Meanwhile, many are using this opportunity to taunt them. Doing the same, one social media user wrote: “Sirf ek ‘Shehzada’ ko fine maarke aapko lag raha hai ke ‘Dhamaka’ kar diya. Lekin is Mumbai ki ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ mein aise shahazade har nukkad pe milenge. Yeh kaisi ‘Luka Chuppi’ khel rahe ho aap? Kabhi toh wrong side drivers ka bhi ‘Punchnama’ karo ji.”

On the film front, Kartik and Kriti Sanon’s Shehzada arrived in theaters on 17th February. It had a lukewarm opening day by earning Rs 7 crore, which is roughly half of what Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had collected on the first day.
