The Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah complete a year today (August 12) and it is no denying that the film was one of the most celebrated movies of last year. The film was based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra who was martyred during the Kargil War in 1999. On the occasion of this milestone of the movie, Kiara treated the fans with a dialogue from the movie which she quite humorously dedicated to her rumored beau.

Talking about the same, Kiara Advani took to her social media handle to write, “@sidmalhotra tu baatein toh badi badi karta tha par tu bhi na ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ type ka banda nikla.” Before anyone starts thinking something else, the line was a part of her dialogue from the film Shershaah which her character Dimple Cheema tells Captain Vikram Batra during their courtship days. However, Sidharth was quick to reply to her post stating, "Oye Sardani, mujhe na sab yaad hai, bhul hi nahi sakta, aaj 6 baje milne aa jaonga." This might hint that the duo will come live at 6 pm today to chat with their fans on the occasion of the film completing 1 year. Take a look at both of their post.

Shershaah marked Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s first movie together and fans are still not over the magical chemistry that the two shared in the movie. The rumored couple is already in demand to collaborate again for another film soon. Talking about Shershaah, the movie was helmed by Vishnu Vardhan.

Both Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani took to their social media handle to also share a befitting tribute video that celebrates the deep impact that Shershaah left in the minds of the people. The video also showed Captain Vikram Batra’s brother Vishal Batra expressing his gratitude to Sidharth for essaying the character of his late brother so powerfully. Take a look at the same.

Shershaah inevitably celebrated the spirit of love, patriotism, sacrifice, and courage in full swing. The songs of the movie were also a huge hit among the audience. Some fans also wished that the film would have been re-released into the theatres after the latter started opening up.
