    Kiara Advani shared a hilarious account of her awkward first meeting with Lust Stories co-star Neha Dhupia while promoting Govinda Naam Mera recently.

    Kiara Advani , Vicky Kaushal and filmmaker Shashank Khaitan relived some of their very awkward real life moments in an interview recently while promoting their film Govina Naam Mera. Shashank revealed that he has been mistaken by a fan for Mohit Suri while Kiara revealed she was mistaken by Lust Stories co-star Neha Dhupia to be Disha Patani, when they first met.

    Talking about his awkward moment during an interview with Radio Mirchi, Shahshank revealed that once a fan came up to him after the release of his first film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and during the shoot of Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, calming to be his big fan. After getting click with the filmmaker the fan said to him that he loved his movie 2 States which had Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in it.

    Shashank however, didn’t burst the fan’s bubble and thanked the fan regardless of his mistake. The incident triggered Kiara Advani to recall how her first meeting with Neha Dhupia became awkward after she mistook her for Disha Patani who she had watched and loved in the movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. While the movie also starred Kiara who played Sakshi Dhoni in the film, Neha spoke to Kiara of Disha’s character and said that she was said to see her die in the movie.

    Recalling the meeting, Kiara hilariously recalled, “Before Lust Stories, Karan [Johar], Neha [Dhupia], and me met to do a reading. I had never met neha Dhupia before. So, Neha comes to me and she’s like I loved you in Dhoni but I felt so bad when you died. And I was like it was Disha, the other girl.”

    While Vicky and Shashank laughed out loud at this, Kiara recalled Neha’s awkward reaction and laughed as well.

    Govinda Naam Mera which is a masala thriller romantic comedy, released digitally on Disney+ Hotstar on Friday and has gathered some rave reviews from fans for the performances of the cast as well as the plot.
