Koffee With Karan 7: Varun Dhawan asks Karan Johar reason behind his obssession with infidelity, latter reveals he broke up

The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7 saw the energetic Jug Jugg Jeeyo duo Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan grace the couch. Needless to say, there were some fun banter and some entertaining conversations that ensued. However, one of the highlights of the same was Varun also openly taking a fun dig at Karan Johar wherein he asked the latter about his obsession with infidelity when it comes to relationships and marriages. Not only this but the director-producer also gave a massive update when it comes to his relationship status.

Talking about the same, Karan Johar observed how Varun Dhawan is freshly married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal, and Anil Kapoor has been happily married for decades to his wife Sunita Kapoor. The Kal Ho Na Ho director goes on to ask both of them about their take on infidelity when it comes to marriages. However, Varun Dhawan quickly turns the table on KJo and hilariously asks him why he is obsessed with the subject.

Karan Johar was not seen denying the same as he said that he has explored the subject briefly in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006) and also explored it lightly in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. However, Varun Dhawan continued asking KJo about the same whether he has cheated in a relationship himself to be so enamored with the whole idea. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director tries to defend himself by saying that he is just curious about the idea of it.

However, the second highlight was when after Varun Dhawan’s incessant probing, Karan Johar gave in and admitted that he was in a relationship sometime back but he broke up. The producer also hinted that Varun knew about the same and was extremely supportive of the relationship for which he also thanked the actor. However, Karan was careful to not divulge anything further about the same. The episode is being touted to be one of the most fun episodes of the season till now.
